VOLVO ÉTEND SA GAMME DE PELLES DE MANUTENTION ET LEUR PORTÉE

Volvo CE launches the all-new EW200EMH material handler for the waste handling segment. Its big sister, the EW240EMH material handler, can be fitted with a new, longer straight boom.

Designed and built at the Volvo CE plant in Germany, Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE) material handlers promise maximum reliability, flexibility and productivity in waste treatment and recycling applications. The new EW200EMH material handler weighs 22.6 tonnes and features a 129 kW (173 hp) Volvo Stage V / Stage V engine. This machine has a straight boom of 5.5 or 6.25 meters and a gooseneck arm of 4 meters, for a reach of 9.3 or 10.0 meters.

Volvo CE is also extending the reach of its current material handler EW240EMH, aimed at the recycling segment, with a new 7.25 meter straight boom which, combined with the current 5 meter long gooseneck arm, increases reach up to 'at 12 meters.

SPECIALLY DESIGNED FOR WASTE HANDLING

Built on decades of technological excellence, the EW200EMH material handler is specially designed for waste handling applications. Using components that have already proven their worth on its EW240EMH material handler and other wheeled hydraulic excavators, Volvo has taken time to perfect this new machine to meet the specific requirements of material handling applications. waste. While the smaller material handler is based on the proven design of its bigger siblings, it also has many new features that have undergone rigorous real-world testing.

Designed to maintain high productivity and efficiency, the EW200EMH material handler is equipped with a specially adapted hydraulic system. Other modifications to standard hydraulic excavators include a hydraulically-elevated cab, four optional stabilizers (front blade and rear stabilizer standard), solid rubber tires and a custom straight boom that can be mounted with a neck dipper. swan of 4 meters or a sorting arm of 3.5 meters. Volvo material handlers can be ordered without a steering column, allowing the operator to control the entire machine using the joysticks.

Factory-fitted auxiliary circuits allow the sorting grapples and claw grapples to work in perfect harmony with Volvo machines. These tools are available from the Volvo sales network for both material handlers.

The boom float feature and boom cylinder damping improve performance by reducing vibration and keeping the grapple in place for added stability. To improve accuracy, the grapple control and slewing damping system work together during simultaneous operations, while the optimized hydraulic system provides instant response.

PHYSICAL DISTANCE AND COMFORT

Drivers can work in comfort in the spacious Volvo cab, which can rise up to five meters above the ground for a high panoramic view. The cab also benefits from dual-damped cab mounts to reduce noise and vibration, ensuring stable operations at height. The joystick control principle, tested on the EW240E material handler, now allows stabilizers, blade and cab lift to be operated without removing your hands from the joysticks. Both material handlers are equipped with an adjustable arm stroke limitation function, designed to prevent collisions between the cab and the grapple. The height limitation function increases safety when working indoors. In addition, the

Not only can the EW200EMH material handler be tailored to the job site concerned, it can also be customized with several options to best meet the customer's operational needs. Thanks to large glass surfaces, the Volvo cab offers all-round visibility. To further increase safety, customers can select the Volvo Smart View option or a one-piece polycarbonate window. For added convenience, lever steering (CDC) allows the operator to steer the machine up to 19 km / h using only the roller on the left joystick. All of these features are already available on the existing EW240EMH material handler.

E STANDS FOR EFFICIENCY

Like its predecessor, the EW200EMH material handler is both smart and fuel efficient in operation. Auto idle, which reduces engine speed to idle when the controls are inactive for a predetermined amount of time, and automatic engine shutdown help reduce fuel consumption. In addition to the ECO mode, which activates automatically, the EW200EMH material handler is equipped with features that improve fuel efficiency and reduce machine wear.

Servicing the EW200EMH material handler is easy to keep it operational at all times. On all E-Series wheeled excavators, the lubrication points are grouped together and the filters are placed behind wide-opening doors accessible from the ground. Maintenance is made easier with improved access to areas such as the pump compartment. An optional waste pack includes protective shields and a reversible fan to keep the cooling system clean.

As with all Volvo CE machines, customers have access to a range of Volvo services designed to ensure maximum return on investment. Whether it's tools, parts, service technicians or machine monitoring, it's all in one place.
